How to change your password and enable two-factor authentication

Secure your account with a strong password and 2FA.

Changing your password

Go to Settings > Security > Change Password:

1Enter your current password to verify identity.
2Enter your new password (minimum 12 characters, must include a number and a symbol).
3Confirm the new password.
4Click "Update Password".

Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA)

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA. Go to Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication:

1Click "Enable 2FA".
2Download an authenticator app on your phone (Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password).
3Scan the QR code shown on screen with your authenticator app.
4Enter the 6-digit code from your app to verify.
5Store the backup codes in a safe place. These allow you to log in if you lose your phone.

Pro Tip

If you are on a team plan, consider requiring 2FA for all team members from Settings > Team & Workspace > Security Policy.
